Granola – review of three recipes from Dorset Cereals

Each box will make up to 15 servings. These cereals are not suitable for under 3s chocolate granola & macadamia nuts 600g priced around £3.99 Has the most indulgent recipe ingredients out of the three featured in this review and anything that can be Fairtrade, is Fairtrade, namely the cane sugars and golden syrups, the dark cocoa chocolate (containing 70% cocoa solids minimum) and the cocoa butter. Other ingredients include oats, sunflower seeds, barley flakes and, of course, macadamia nuts. This granola has a slightly moist texture and the chopped macadamia nuts gives it more of a nibble and a munch-like texture, than the other two recipes on review which are more crunchy as you might expect. The dark chocolate brings about a richness that when served in a bowl with single or double cream poured on or sprinkled on top of vanilla ice-cream could perfectly well pass for an after dinner dessert. Taste wise this was a favourite amongst the TSS testers. elderflower@blackcurrant granola 550g priced around £3.99 (Limited Edition) This granola was developed …

Body Lotion (Scent 2) AND Shower Gel (Scent 1) from the Conran Bath and Body range

Conran’s whole bath and body care range is available in two scents. Scent 2 has properties to refresh so the fragrance is quite fruity, whereas Scent 1 has spicy, woody type qualities. The important thing to emphasize is that BOTH fragrances and the COMPLETE PRODUCT RANGE is for MEN and WOMEN and not geared specifically for one particular gender; which is quite unusual in the world of design and beauty. CONRAN 2 Body Lotion The body lotion under review has the lightest, softest texture imaginable. Application is simple as it is not as thick and heavy as cheaper brands tend to be and so it is a complete breeze to spread and massage, around and about, this wonderfully, whipped up and cooling airy lotion. The scent has mild freshwater notes with a hint of orange. Skin is left feeling soft and moisturized to the high degree one would hope to expect from a product made by a top rated company that bears the name of a top rated designer. This is luxury in a jar …

Sodastream Pure Machine plus sodastream Clear Plus Flavours

Seriously, the SodaStream home drinks maker could become an essential piece of kit to have around for those who are open to choosing differently when out shopping, if they think their choice might make some difference to the world, however small. There is no doubt that making fizzy drinks straight from tap water in the home, in favour of the buying of carbonated drinks in plastic bottles and cans, which, of course, then needs to be recycled and all those considerations – it’s a ticking clock! And so, and who would have thought it, that the answer could be found in the investment of a SodaStream machine, an item that has nostalgic interest as first sold in 70s and 80s Britain, a time when big industries and peoples’ actions were less green and both business and habitual practices were not so environmentally friendly by any stretch of the imagination. The Sodastream drinksmaker: cost from £49.99. Admittedly, the CO2 Cylinder/Carbonator (supplied under licence), which produces the fizz, needs to be recycled or refilled, nevertheless there is …
