#SmallBizSatUK having just happened (Sat 02 Dec), we profile designer/maker, Karen Davey from Delabole; a village situated approx 6 miles from Port Isaac on the North Cornish coast. See Karen in the snapshot above with designer Wayne Hemingway MBE on a business visit he made to Cornwall in 2015
Karen Davey is an online seller of contemporary interior furnishings. View the website. Karen wears many worker hats as she sells her crafts and the crafts of others which includes handmade fused glass and painted pottery, jewellery and gift items straight out of the Winifred and Mabel shop (pictured above) in Molesworth Street, Wadebridge, (managed by Karen along with business partner, Sarah). Karen also travels around the county and duchy to hold and lead craft workshops in other places on request. Examples below.
Karen has always lived in Delabole and she says she’s never wished to live anywhere else, she enjoys sea swimming and long beach walks.
