Textile Artists producing Handmade Home Textiles and Home Accessories

For TSS readers interested in seeing unique, handmade home textiles and home accessories I am mentioning The Textile Fair event which was held at the historic Warwickshire Art Gallery at Compton Verney. On Saturday (Nov 17th) leading textile artists were in attendance exhibiting their collections. Designer/makers were commissioning/selling their soft furnishings and other textile home accessories. The exhibition spaces also consisted of those showcasing and selling beautiful, handmade garments and clothing accessories; toys; books; textile materials and bits and bobs, and making kits

Nicola Jones, owner of The Craft Studio (Warwickshire) does her own dyeing, spinning, knitting and crocheting

Emma Gluyas from Coventry UK makes vibrant contemporary art which can adorn any wall at home or office

Emma Caplin makes fun and bright collages from paper and card and uses digital processes to produce prints and cushions

Note: separately, at Not Compulsory I will be presenting the work of Birmingham City Fashion Students and that of the Leamington Embroiders Guild both of whom were in attendance at The Textile Fair this weekend
